GREATER HOUSTON HISPANIC CHAMBER OF COMMERCE FOUNDATION
Established in 2010 for the express purpose of expanding the education and training offered in the region, the Greater Houston Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Foundation seeks to develop Emerging Leaders who are representative of Houston’s demographics.
Through its trailblazing Emerging Leaders Institute the Chamber Foundation serves as a catalyst for identifying, empowering, and furthering young Hispanic leaders. Launched in 2012, the program has now graduated more than 200 young leaders in a variety of industries and professions. These leaders represent the future of the Hispanic community and the Greater Houston region, and the Emerging Leaders Institute program helps give them the additional tools they need to continue their trajectories.
The intensive curriculum seeks to empower young leaders in the areas of leadership, effective communication, setting and achieving goals, excelling in their career, and much more. The program features sessions led by leaders of industry, government, education, and the public sector. The ultimate goal of the Emerging Leaders Institute is to empower these young leaders to take their professional and personal lives to an entirely new level.
The overwhelming success and response to the Emerging Leaders Institute since its inception has resulted in the program being replicated in Chambers of Commerce across the country.
